The Vision Pro headset could be set for its international launch after WWDC 2024
It appears that recent reports that Apple will launch the Vision Pro headset internationally after WWDC 2024 are spot on.
According to the latest note from famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he states that deliveries to non-US markets like the UK, France, Germany, China, Japan, and Singapore are all set to commence before the middle of June. In other words, just after WWDC 2024.
Kuo maintained his global shipment forecast to be between 400,000 and 450,000 units, suggesting that Apple’s overall international rollout plans remain on track.
Word on the street is that Apple will announce details regarding the international availability and pricing of the Vision Pro at next week’s WWDC, after it shows off updates to visionOS – the software that powers the Vision Pro.
The international launch comes after reports of declining demand for the Vision Pro in the US, which reportedly led to Apple scaling back orders. Kuo said in April that demand for the Vision Pro is “falling sharply beyond expectations” in the US market.
Apple is widely expected to announce updates to visionOS at WWDC and it will be interesting to see what kind of improvements the new OS will bring to the Vision Pro headset.
